Sara Cruz

     Medical Assistant

Sara Cruz serves as our receptionist and Medical Asistant. She received her training and Diploma from Remington College in Lafayette. She completed her externship at the clinic and enjoyed working here so much she decided to join our team. She has now been working at the clinic for 1 year. Sara has extensive experience with client/patient services. She makes it her personal goal to acheive a professional and family oriented atmosphere in the clinic.

  

Sara is originally from Lake Arthur, LA but has been living in the Duson/Lafayette area for 10 years. She is married to Marcos Cruz. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their two dogs Bella and Beau.

   

        Lacie Benoit

      Medical Assistant

Lacie Benoit attended the Medical Assisting program at Remington College and graduated with a 4.0 GPA in 2009. She completed her externship at Scott Family Clinic with Dr. Darrin Menard, who serves as the medical director here at Duson Family Healthcare. Lacie is certified as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists in Baton Rouge.  She has experience in cardiology, phlebotomy and family practice. She became interested in the medical field because she enjoys helping others and loves the knowledge and excitement that the medical field offers. Lacie is proud to be a part of the DFH family and feels blessed to be able to work with a great team of professionals. She is currently the primary nurse here in the clinic. 

  

Lacie is originlly from Youngsville, LA. She now resides in Maurice. 

   

     Kristina Cary

     Medical Assistant

Kristina Cary is the newest member to our family. She is one of our medical assistants. Kristina graduated from Acadiana High School then continued on to receive her diploma from Remington College as a Medical Assistant in November of 2009. She currently does our kidmed screenings and patient referrals along with functioning as an office nurse. Kristina says she enjoys working with Tiffany Roy, FNP and all of the staff at Duson Family Healthcare. 

Kristina was born in Church Point, LA and raised in Scott, LA. She currently resides in Scott with her daughter Karlee.

   Tiffany S. Roy

Nurse Practitioner

Owner

Tiffany Roy is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received both her bachelor's degree and master's degree in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for 7 years. Tiffany has extensive experience in all areas of women's health, working in an OB/GYN office for four years. She has also gained valuable experience working closely with other Nurse Practitioners at Simmsport Family Clinic and Cottonport Family Clinic.

Tiffany is originally from Basile, LA but has been living in the Duson/Scott area for over 15 years. She is married to Brock Roy of Eunice LA. They have 2 daughters, Madison and Kailey.

Jena Roy

Nurse Practitioner

Jena Roy is a Family Nurse Practitioner who works in our clinic part-time. She graduated from McNeese State University in May 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She received her Master's Degree in Nursing from University of Southern Alabama in December 2009. Jena has done contract work in different family practice clinics as a Nurse Practitioner where she has gained tremendous experience in all areas of medicine. She also has an extensive background in women's health. Jena has been a great asset to our clinic.

  

Jena was born and raised in Basile, LA where she currently resides with her husband, Kellen Roy. 

  

     Cynthia L. Smith

Cynthia Smith has worked as a receptionist in many different types of businesses for over 20 years. She is very excited to be working at Duson Family Healthcare, especially working for and with her daughter, Tiffany Roy.

Cynthia has lived in Basile, LA all of her life and has been married to Philip Smith for 33 years. They are very proud of their 4 children, Tiffany, Amber, Ryan and Blaine. They have also been blessed with 6 grandchildren and currently has 2 more on the way.
